Marcus, just wanted to say I think you’ve done a stellar job with this series in terms of the depth of thinking and in producing an easily relatable narrative of a novel new industry that needs to find its feet within the context of decades (or centuries) old rules and regulations. I thoroughly enjoyed reading each installment and this one in particular because it highlights the challenges that will be faced by the pioneers of this new world to roll out cryptocurrency infrastructure in a responsible manner without sacrificing any of the massive benefits that anti-fragile permissionless cryptovalue systems provide. The cat is out of the bag — we may now, for the first time in history, achieve distributed consensus — and nobody can return us to a pre-blockchain world. One’s only choice now is whether to swim with the rushing tide (which may turn out to be a lot of fun anyway), or attempt to fight against it.

Disclaimer: I’m also at BitX
